V-studio magazine : It's that time of the year again

Yeah the last post was from February. We have been way too busy to update the blog. Olga’s been sick, we had a ton of dresses that needed to be finished. Made a short trip to Austria. Did several shootings… In the meantime we simply forgot to make a post or two on this blog. But we are resuming soon with regular updates on the blog. But first we have a full program this weekend, today a competition with Anastasia and Ben and tomorrow with a big bunch of couples from Movement. The openings party was great yesterday! We had over 100 people during the afternoon and evening. We have to clean up a little now so the complete story will have to wait till later. V-studio magazine : We're now officially open!

On Saturday November 8th we will be opening our studio, V-studio. After weeks, mmm make that months of work we feel the time has come that we can show it to you. Come to see with your own eyes the sewing atelier where the beautiful dresses will be created. The office from where the graphic design will flow. And of course the photo studio with it’s living room like interior where everyone can easily feel at home. We like to welcome you from 4 o’clock in the afternoon when we start serving a nice Secco Rosé from Weingut Peter Schreiber. Doors will be open till late in the evening. Just dress nicely and drop by at Bahnhofstr. 8 in Gruenstadt! We hope to see you Saturday, Olga & Bob Am Samstag, 8. November, wird das V-Studio seine Türen öffnen. V-studio magazine : You are invited!

Slowly but surely we are approaching the date (pssst, keep november 8th free in your agenda) that we can open the studio to the public. It is always a little bit more work than you hope for from the beginning but it is fun to see it evolve. During the work some things change. We now have a little bit more color than originally planned The corridor is colored very refreshing and we got some very nice big green plants for loan. It makes the whole thing immediately more alive. With the pictures below you can get a bit of the feel of the studio. V-studio magazine : The colors of V-studio!

This is a little tribute to you my dear. We are working and working and working and I’m amazed about how much you can do. The studio is coming together now very fast. From where you get the energy I really don’t know. But the results are there, the opening not too far off now. Hopefully after that we will have a little bit more time for us two again. Not just working together but also having fun. Just want to let the world know how great you are! I love you and I miss you! V-studio magazine : The hardest working girl in this bizz!

Or also called an update on the studio. When we have a few hours left in the week that we are not working for our lovely clients, we don’t just sit back and relax. Because we want to finish the studio as soon as possible. Not easy when we also have to do some work to earn our living. But we are very grateful that there are people who are willing to help us. Like Eike, he recently spent a big part of his free saturday to help us put the floor into the office part. Ok we need to paint a little there too but it already looks tons better. V-studio magazine : About those few hours left in the week…

Only after taking down a wall the real work starts. Taking out the trash. Not an easy task as the room is located on the third floor about 7 to 8 meters high… We ordered a container plus slide. Easy we thought just dumping the trash from the top through the slide into the container. Only there was one small problem. We were not able to get the slide up The thing was so heavy that we managed no further than the second floor. As walking down would not work for this amount we decided on the bucket-on-a-rope technique. Not as easy as the slide but it worked very well! Olga broke the wall parts into smaller pieces, Pommy collected that into the buckets and let them slide down. I had the honor of dumping it into the container. Pommy btw. was a very big help today, thank you very much! As Olga also has to deliver a dress or two in the coming days we had help for that too, Susie and Angelika glued stones and flowers to 2 ballroom dresses. It’s great to count on friends!
